THE OPPORTUNITY
We have an exciting opening in our Christchurch office for an experienced land surveyor to join our small but dynamic team that is involved in a range of innovative and varied surveying throughout the south island.
You could be an experienced graduate, recently licensed or an experienced survey technician – whatever your stage, our focus is on the applicant having a great attitude to their work and embracing our company values.
Our Company, Staig and Smith Ltd is involved in a wide variety of surveying and spatial measurement projects throughout the South Island:
UAV Surveying / Laser Scanning / 3D Point Cloud Analysis / Rural and Urban Cadastral Surveys / Topographic Surveys / Land Development Engineering / Vertical Construction Surveys /Spatial Problem Solving

ABOUT YOU
We are looking for an enthusiastic team player with a strong work
ethic who will support our company values. You will ask questions,
bring your ideas to the table and take the initiative. Ideally you will have graduated from Otago Survey School with a minimum of a couple of years experience.
Ideally you will have experience in using:
- 12D software
- Leica GNSS and Total Stations
